People are the New Media Properties

People have become media properties. Whether we do it intentionally or not, we have the ability to influence friends, family and followers.

The web provides the tools for everyone to be listened to, spoken with, and above all else, to express themselves, enabling them to become a web celebrity, or an Influential.

Recently, I created a page on Facebook with no content, not even a description. I proceeded to invite my friends, and within a few days 10% became fans. Amazing!

The question is how to create a measurable monetization platform to reward the new media properties.
