Track your Content

Tynt is a cool service that tracks content being copied from a web site. When you copy some of the text from a site, Tynt will append a unique URL into the pasted text.

- Links & Traffic to your site
Each time a user copies content from your website and pastes into an email, blog or website, it automatically adds a URL that links back to the site with the original content. When someone clicks on that URL, they are directed back to the site to read the original content.

- What content is engaging
This can help a publisher learn what type of content to create more of, what types of people are sharing, and if the publisher is getting engagement from key audiences.

- Additional revenue
Tynt recognizes short pieces of copied text as likely searches, and intercepts the search going to one of the major engines, The service plans to share the revenue from searches that result in ad clicks with the publishers.

I have added it on Buzz, I am curious to see the kind of data it will collect.
